Interns will work full-time hours during the summer. Job Purpose The Racine Manufacturing Operations team supports a wide range of engineering processes and production lines to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in plant operations. By driving process improvements and problem-solving initiatives, the team plays a key role in delivering high-quality agricultural equipment to customers. As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with production teams, supporting process optimization projects, and applying engineering principles in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills and basic data analysis experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Farming background or experience in agriculture, construction, or landscaping preferred, but not required
  • Some positions may require the ability to travel to other sites

Responsibilities

  • Supporting engineering processes and production line operations at the Racine facility
  • Applying root cause analysis to identify and implement robust, sustainable solutions to production challenges
  • Contributing to process improvement projects that enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency
  • Assisting with data analysis and reporting to support decision-making in manufacturing operations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and operational goals
