About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Summer 2025 Intern Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing engineering activities. The role involves writing and modifying manufacturing work instructions, routing builds in SAP ERP software, and reviewing designs for manufacturability. The position is designed for students pursuing a degree in engineering and offers a hands-on experience in a production environment.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
• Knowledge of dynamic component assembly or mechanical assembly
• Technical educational background
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)
• Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
• Basic knowledge of using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
• Familiar with Lean manufacturing
• Prior exposure to production or support environment, testing or training
• Self-starter and strong sense of self-direction
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Interest in production/ factory setting
