About The Position
This position involves responsibilities such as evaluating and implementing workstation layouts compliant with strike zone methodology, designing material flow from dock door to point of use, and developing process tools for the team. The role also includes documenting current processes and line balancing activities, participating in Continuous Improvement (CI) workshops as a contributing team member, and supporting key business initiatives and core projects. Unique challenges include balancing multiple requirements from differing internal functional groups, learning to develop macros to assist in standard document development, and understanding how to apply core standards in a variety of OEM products and plant constraints.
