About The Position

Job Summary: Design, develop, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in science in engineering, or related field, from accredited educational institution and 2 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
  • Exhibit good decision making, analytical problem solving, statistical analysis and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Communicate effectively, in written and spoken form, and possess excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in conditions below 32 degrees or above 90 degrees on occasion.
  • May be required to work any shift on occasion and travel may be required on occasion.

Responsibilities

  • Provides engineering product support for all products (Air Handlers, Condensing Units, Sheet Metal and Coils).
  • Provides and reviews workflow design and improvement, product changes, process changes, and capacity analysis.
  • Provides direct support to production personnel with manufacturing issues which include but are not limited to assembly or fit of components, process improvement.
  • Acts as a liaison between production and engineering and makes decisions concerning daily line calls and production issues.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing documentation pertaining to part specifications, work instructions, process flow maps, quality control/quality assurance.
  • Works individually or in project teams to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis and production coordination.
  • Works individually or in project teams to design layout of equipment, materials, & workspace for maximum efficiency based on current designs and products.
  • Evaluates designs and processes for improvements and cost savings continuously.
