These solutions ensure structural integrity of the aircraft, help aircraft take off and land, stay trim in the air, move forward, carry cargo and conduct rescues. Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • 1 or more years of experience in support of manufacturing operations with a focus on process improvements and problem solving.
  • 1 or more years of project work implementing new equipment and technologies into a production environment.

  • 3 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Development and presentation of project plans and justification to site leadership.
  • Has experience implementing transformational change.
  • Experience with AS9100
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills

  • Expert in several process areas and deployable to a variety of complete manufacturing problems and projects.
  • Proven ability to develop long term plans related to process transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Assure accuracy in processes, equipment, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work in support of production requirements.
  • Continuously improve quality and productivity using the CORE Operating System for products and processes including compliance to these processes.
  • Identify and implement cost savings as related to direct and indirect labor savings, and expense account budgets.
  • Ability to lead activities related to compliance audits including AS9100, NADCAP, etc.
  • Provide technical support for serving as liaison between Value Streams, Quality Assurance, EH&S and Design Engineering.
  • Project and Contractor Management
  • Work within a cross functional team supporting the Quality organization by managing and driving to closure of their activities and schedules
  • Ensure on-time delivery of Quality deliverables.
  • Work with the operations/production teams in the analysis and path forward for defective material
  • Monitor defect data and maintain feedback to establish/support closed loop actions
