About The Position
Elbit Systems of America is seeking a Process Engineer focused on the manufacturing of the Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) photocathode structure. This position involves optimizing manufacturing processes and equipment to reduce defects in the growth structures, minimize costs, and reduce equipment downtime. The engineer will work closely with the Operations group to manage process improvement, defect analysis, and technician training. Additionally, the role requires collaboration in cross-functional team settings to address safety, quality, delivery, and productivity issues. Conducting failure analysis of components to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions is also a key responsibility. The engineer will aim to increase image intensifier performance as part of a cross-functional team.
