Manufacturing Engineer I -2nd Shift
About The Position
Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling. Design machine and equipment layouts to ensure efficient and productive plant operations. Define sequences of operations and specify procedures affecting product performance. Adapt machine and equipment designs to meet factory and production conditions. Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans when applicable. Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify performance and efficiency. Investigate process deficiencies and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality. Develop manufacturing processes compatible with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies. Provide engineering guidance related to design concepts and manufacturing specifications. Ensure all processes and procedures comply with applicable regulatory and quality standards. Other duties maybe assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering completed.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Must be available to work 2nd shift (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM) 100% on-Site in Juncos, PR.
- Engineering experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting production/manufacturing operations
- Strong problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Applied Yellow or Green Belt certification
- Validation experience
