About The Position

The Manufacturing Engineer I supports the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes within a regulated medical device environment. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, ensure compliance, and support validation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the regulated industry.
  • Experience in Validation activities
  • Strong Problem Solving skills
  • Team Oriented
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering completed.
  • Willing to work 100% On-site in Humacao, PR.

Responsibilities

  • Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
  • Design and optimize machine layouts within plant facilities to ensure efficient and productive workflows.
  • Define sequences of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment impacting product performance.
  • Adapt machine and equipment designs to factory and production conditions.
  • Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans as needed.
  • Inspect the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency.
  • Investigate manufacturing issues and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality.
  • Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control (SPC).
  • Provide engineering guidance on design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize manufacturing equipment and techniques.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures comply with applicable regulations.
  • Other duties maybe assigned.
