About The Position

Position Overview: The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality. Design and implement new manufacturing systems and processes. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes. (work instructions) Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Assists in the training of less-experienced personnel by leading and training teams in lean manufacturing. Design assembly processes (time studies, line balancing, material handling devices, material delivery systems). Coordinates maintenance personnel in support of equipment and facility requirements. Maintain constant communication with product engineering and timely implement any processes changes Submit product process deviations as required Other duties as required. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar experience.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to learn the fundamentals of motor assembly and testing per Regal standards.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints.
