About The Position

Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical/Electronics (Mid-Level, Senior, Lead) Company: The Boeing Company The BCA Supply Chain Engineering team is looking for Manufacturing Engineers seeking an exciting and unique opportunity in Mexico. This will be an LTA expat assignment for up to 2 years requiring your expert knowledge, leadership, and high levels of collaboration. This is certainly not going to be your average ME assignment. You will join a team of DE, ME, IE, Supply Chain Ops, and Global Field Ops, as a member of the BCA Mexico team, where you will play a vital and dynamic role that is critical to stabilizing the supply chain, driving improved production yield, and supporting upcoming BCA Airplane program production rates. In this role you will be embedded with key suppliers and exposed to a variety of Manufacturing Engineering, activities, including: Experience an entire production system and build holistic factory knowledge. Prime technical support for either building Wire bundles, Secondary structures, and Systems/LRUs. Focal for regional support – great leadership visibility Collaborate across functions to identify and resolve production challenges Heavy exposure to key suppliers Opportunity to collaborate across the full production value stream Leverage knowledge of Systems, Structures, and Wire bundle design requirements, D6’s, and fabrication methods Multiple combinations of planning, shipside support, precedence network development, build integration……and more Opportunity to have direct influence over the success and performance of our airplane programs. Requirements

  • Able to relocate for a Long Term Field Service Assignment to an international location
  • 3 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing production environment
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement (Mid-Level)
  • 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country.
  • Requires ability to pass security background checks necessary for airport and customer badging.
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable.
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
  • The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed locations.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
  • “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
