Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full time Early Career Manufacturing Engineer. Manufacturing Engineers provide support for all stages of a platform’s program lifecycle. The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) discipline is consulted and responsible for manufacturing plan development, full-rate production standup and support, and post-delivery sustainment and modification activities. MEs are integral at every program stage for efficient and effective aircraft production. This position will be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, processes, and procedures. The day-to-day tasking will include working with shop floor personnel, design engineering, quality engineering, industrial engineering, and other engineering disciplines to support production of our various platforms. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technology-related field. (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering)
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest in an Operations role, with a preference for hands-on applications of engineering and manufacturing principles.
  • Previous manufacturing and/or operations experience.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy working in a production environment with operators
  • Be self-motivated, take initiative, and have strong work ethic
  • Have a learning and continuous improvement attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Membership in SME, SAE, ASME, or a similar technical organization.
