The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills We are looking for a Tooling Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of tooling processes and maintenance. This role will involve creating a tool database within Maximo application software that will be used to track tool maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance planning.

Requirements

Tooling knowledge on items such as punches, dies and fixtures
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of tooling applications and maintenance procedures
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and environment
Maximo Application Knowledge highly preferred
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Work onsite in Urbana, Ohio in tool room to gather data on all tools used
Create a tool database within Maximo application
Coordinate with onsite technicians and experts to gather tooling data and requirements for Maximo application
Maintain and update tooling database within Maximo application to ensure system is running
Stay current with tooling and manufacturing processes
Successful candidate may be asked to assist onsite tooling technician teams with additional tasks due to extended leaves during scope of work
