About The Position

Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op - Spring 2026 Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission. THE ROLE Our site in Danbury, CT, is seeking a/an Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. We’re seeking a motivated co-op looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and rewarding environment. As part of the Manufacturing Engineering team within the Dry Process Solutions unit—supporting Specialty Gas and Coatings processes—you’ll contribute to projects that drive process safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Clear communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to challenges and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Eagerness to contribute ideas and assist in solving technical problems.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Expected graduation year: 2026 or later (flexible based on program requirements).
  • Must be a currently enrolled student
  • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
  • Must be familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs is beneficial, but not required

  • Basic understanding of statistics, programming, or data systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support process development initiatives aligned with key customer needs.
  • Assist in deploying a new manufacturing screening system, including AI-based input/output development.
  • Improve operational efficiency through data automation, reporting, and integration of expanded operations data.
  • Support existing systems and processes for Specialty Gas Products, including system enhancements and documentation updates.
  • Conduct statistical analysis to support quality improvements and process investigations.
