The Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer position in Phoenix, AZ, focuses on programming CNC Lathes and Mills using Siemens NX, developing necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with design and quality requirements. The role involves creating process routings, analyzing production methods, and supporting customer RFQs, all while adhering to established standards.

  • Program CNC Lathes and Mills using Siemens NX, including the development of required documentation such as setup sheets and tool lists to support manufacturing.
  • Prepare operational instruction sketches using Siemens NX.
  • Create accurate process routings in Epicor (ERP) with precise time standards and relevant data to ensure parts meet design intent and customer requirements. Update documentation as necessary.
  • Design and develop processes and methods for engineering projects to ensure compliance with contractual, program, design, and quality requirements.
  • Analyze, organize, and define production methods and processes for manufacturing complex and involved designs, adhering to established standards and acceptable variations.
  • Support customer Request for Quotes (RFQs) by assisting in technical evaluations.
  • Participate in reviewing design, manufacturing, and testing documentation to ensure alignment with contract, program, design, and quality specifications.
  • Assist with design, engineering analysis, and interpretation of customer requirements and specifications.
  • Work from part and product drawings, manufacturing schedules, and other technical documentation.
  • Previous experience in the Aerospace Industry is preferred
  • Previous experience with CNC Programming with Siemens NX
  • Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
  • Experience in lean manufacturing practices
  • Proven ability to effectively schedule and organize people and time to complete tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting customer drawings, specifications, procedures, and standards
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with CAD software.
