About The Position

The Manufacturing Electronics Technician provides production support within our production facility and is crucial for keeping automated lines running. This position will be on our weekend shift, working from Friday-Sunday 6 am - 6:30 pm. It will be required to work on our first shift for 2 weeks during training. This position reports to Manufacturing Engineering Manager. According to the FLSA (Fair Labor Standards Act), this position is classified as: Non-Exempt

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of directly related experience
  • Associate’s degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field
  • Microsoft Office Suite Experience, including experience logging and communicating data through Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • PLC - Allen Bradley Product Knowledge Compactlogix or CCW (connected components workbench)
  • Experience with CMMS software such as Mpulse or EPAC
  • Familiarity of Banner product

Responsibilities

  • Installing and maintaining various instruments and control systems used in industrial processes This includes sensors, transmitters, control valves, actuators, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Responding to equipment work request ensuring maximum equipment uptime driving overall equipment effectiveness of the production facility
  • Collaborating with engineers, operators, and other stakeholders to optimize control strategies for industrial processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate maintenance activities, share knowledge, and address operational challenges.
