About The Position

The position involves working as an experienced technician within the Collins Aerospace Cargo team, focusing on the assembly and testing of electromechanical components for motorized cargo convenience systems. The role requires maintaining testing equipment and supporting manufacturing processes, with an emphasis on troubleshooting, calibration, and software support for new product testing.

Requirements

• Requires an AA/AS degree or other 2 year post high school training with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in reading and fully interpreting Assembly Drawings and Schematics.
• Experience with use of test and evaluation measurement equipment, including DMMs, Oscilloscopes, RF equipment, waveform generators, etc.
• Familiarity with NI LabVIEW and TestSTAND.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical test equipment, wire harnesses, and other support equipment.
• Calibrating test equipment.
• Providing documentation for new test protocols.
• Supporting loading software in the production environment.
• Supporting new product testing rollout.
• Creating software for new automated test protocols.
• Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment and processes.
• Ordering electrical supplies and equipment.
