Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is seeking a Manufacturing Documentation Specialist to support and maintain manufacturing documentation. This position will manage the creation, control and release of all manufacturing documentation for various products. Team members are responsible for the following tasks: Revision control and management of manufacturing documents, release and distribution of manufacturing documents, gatekeeping materials management processes within manufacturing execution systems, verification of program approval matrices for document approval, administration of document control systems

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in documentation and/or manufacturing environment.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Manufacturing systems.
  • Shop floor control, BOMs, Document control (SAP PRISM or Equivalent).
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Computer proficiency with demonstrated ability to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics.
  • Technical Problem Solving.
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, or comprehensive approach to tasks.
  • Strategic and visionary planning, develop relationships and achieve buy-in from all relevant parties.
  • Ability to facilitate results through a cross-functional team.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure work is performed to meet all production policy requirements.
  • Teaming to work with multifunctional teams.
  • Utilizing data analysis and critical thinking.
  • Participates in Operations command media policy maintenance and periodic review.
  • Supports reporting manufacturing documentation control and release metrics results in multiple levels of tier meetings and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
