About The Position

BRECOflex CO., L.L.C. is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Director of Manufacturing to lead and elevate our plant operations. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, ensuring accountability, and translating strategic objectives into measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate is a seasoned manufacturing leader with a proven track record of optimizing production, improving quality, and building high-performing teams. This is not a purely strategic role — it requires visible, on-floor leadership, decisive decision-making, and direct involvement in shaping execution across all manufacturing functions. The Director of Manufacturing will lead all aspects of production, including Quality Control, Inventory, Maintenance, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and CNC Machining. Reporting directly to the President, this individual will be responsible for streamlining operations, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership, with 5+ years in a senior operational leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in production planning, CNC machining, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
  • Ability to relate to employees at all levels, from shop floor technicians to executive leadership.
  • Strong technical skill set to understand and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on leadership approach with experience mentoring and developing future leaders.
  • Demonstrated success in driving projects from concept to completion while fostering team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution – Develop and implement manufacturing strategies; set goals, policies, and procedures; monitor industry trends to keep operations competitive.
  • Operational Excellence – Oversee production planning, scheduling, inventory, and plant operations; maintain visible presence on the floor; remove barriers and ensure resources are efficiently utilized; track SEB milestones and performance metrics.
  • Leadership & Team Development– Lead, mentor, and develop manufacturing managers and staff; set clear expectations, foster accountability, and build a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Quality & Compliance – Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and adherence to regulations; implement and maintain quality systems; conduct audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Technology & Innovation – Evaluate and integrate new technologies and automation; partner with R&D for new products and processes; stay current with manufacturing advancements and best practices.
