The Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) is a 15-month rotational program where participants gain first-hand experience across a broad range of functions and departments in a leading beverage manufacturer. Participants will spend 9 months rotating through plant departments while working on cost or time-saving projects that are impactful to the plant and Niagara. Each MDP Participant will have the opportunity to act as a Plant Supervisor for 6 months, which will prepare them for a leader of people or process role upon graduation. Relocating after completing the program is crucial, as it broadens the range of job opportunities available.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 0 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 0 years of experience managing people/projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years of experience managing people/projects.
  • 1 year of internship experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or any field.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in hands-on experience, project work, and professional development.
  • Rotate through Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments.
  • Work on cost or time-saving projects that are impactful to the plant.
  • Act as a Plant Supervisor for 6 months to understand the role's scope.
  • Engage leadership and problem-solving skills regarding people and technical issues.
  • Complete cross-departmental projects.
  • Present experiences and project outcomes to local and regional leadership.
  • Attend department/manager meetings and action plan based on feedback.
