This is a variable work schedule (VWS) where the employee works 3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, and 3 days off. The hours are 9pm-9am or 9am-9pm. Depending on the shift, the VWS follows the schedule of: “Front Half Schedule” Day shift: Monday-Thursday and Monday-Wednesday 9am-9pm. Night Shift: Sunday 9pm – Monday 9am through Wednesday 9am and Sunday 9pm through Thursday 9am. “Back Half Schedule” Night Shift: Wednesday 9pm – Thursday 9am through Sunday 9am and Thursday 9pm – Sunday 9am. Day Shift: Wednesday-Sunday and Thursday-Sunday

Requirements

Ability to learn quickly following verbal and written instructions regarding safety, chemical handling and wafer processing.
Ability to sustain a high quality of work in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.
Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing goals, objectives and policies of the company. Ability to work overtime.
Excellent work ethics in terms of attendance, organization, and team skills.
Be comfortable using computers and learning new computer programs.
Able to stand and walk the entire shift.
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and demonstrating excellent manual dexterity.

Nice To Haves

Semiconductor processing experience a plus, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

Able to work 12 hour shifts on this schedule.

Operate equipment dedicated to semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Be comfortable using computers and learning new computer programs.
Be comfortable using a computer and data system for data entry while following written instructions
Implementation of continuous improvement and lean principles to optimize workflow.
Follow standard manufacturing and cleanroom protocol, including gowning and following good operating discipline.
Ability to sustain a high quality of work in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.
Excellent work ethics in terms of attendance, organization, and team skills.
Once proven efficient, ability to train others based on business needs.
Must have the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary organization by communicating effectively with supervisors, engineers, and maintenance personnel to ensure that manufacturing needs are being met.
Physical Competencies: Continuous standing required for extended periods of time. Must be able to maintain productivity during normal or long work hours. Must be capable of working in clean room environments, which requires wearing full-body PPE, including head and face coverings, for periods that vary based on production schedules. This includes maintaining physical dexterity and mobility to perform tasks in a controlled environment while adhering to strict contamination prevention protocols.
