About The Position

The Manufacturing Coordinator supports production and inventory control by ensuring work orders and paint orders are accurately maintained in the ERP system and materials are properly identified and advanced through each stage of the manufacturing process. Maintains inventory accuracy through system updates and coordinates outside processing to support on-time delivery and cost control. This position operates across office and shop floor environments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, inventory control, or production coordination.
  • 2+ years of experience using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Visual or similar).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing operations or material flow.
  • 1+ year of experience coordinating outside processing or vendor-managed services.
  • 1+ year of experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
  • 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Excel for reporting or data tracking.
  • Completion of a technical training or certificate program (trade school, community college, or workforce program).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update work orders and paint orders in the ERP system (e.g., Visual) to ensure accurate production status.
  • Verify materials are properly identified, staged, and moved to the next operation, including stock or final assembly.
  • Performing cycle counts in alignment with MRP requirements; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process inventory adjustments and maintain accurate system records.
  • Review and update part reorder points to support production continuity.
  • Coordinate outside processing, including vendor communication, purchase order support, and delivery tracking.
  • Monitor vendor performance, turnaround times, and costs.
  • Partner with production, planning, and inventory teams to resolve material flow issues.
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with internal procedures and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
