Manufacturing Controls Engineer
About The Position

Leads initiatives for the daily support of products, processes, and equipment and may be responsible for leading the integration of new products within production, meeting new product integration timelines and production goals (i.e., safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity). This individual will be required to routinely partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, troubleshoot and implement manufacturing processes within the business unit.
Responsibilities
- Subject Matter Expert on the manufacturing processes and flow
- Create equipment and systems to improve machine operation
- Design control of new machines and processes
- Resolve code and other malfunctions in the machine
- Troubleshooting issues with controls
- Perform and document control system testing
- Identify and lead manufacturing improvements and cost reduction projects
- Perform troubleshooting on new and existing process problems
- Assist with developing and participating in training for manufacturing personnel
- Revise Standard Operation and Manufacturing Procedures to capture all necessary process, product, and regulatory requirements
- Lead CAPA related efforts for the technology platform
- Participates in capital requisition proposals and projects
- Maintains process maps and value stream maps
- Participates in maintaining appropriate work environmental conditions and recommends facilities modifications where appropriate
