About The Position

One of our clients is looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Chemist to join their team. You will be responsible for implementing assigned production procedures within defined schedules and ensuring compliance with company and cGMP regulatory standards. Your role will include maintaining a safe work environment, participating in the safety team, and working collaboratively to meet production goals.

Requirements

• Knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes including chemical synthesis, chromatography, ultrafiltration, freeze drying, and aseptic technique.
• Ability to perform general routine operations such as pH measurements, UV determinations, and fraction collection.
• 2-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Previous GMP experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• A biotechnology certificate or college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute defined lab start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with defined procedures.
• Ensure basic lab supply needs are met.
• Qualify and maintain qualification on all assigned manufacturing processes, including synthesis and/or purification equipment cleaning and setup.
• Prepare general solutions and pack columns.
• Perform lab cleaning, changeover, start-up, and shutdown procedures.
• Monitor routine equipment, including chart recorders and spectrophotometers.
• Monitor automated systems and record operational data.
• Perform routine operations such as pH measurements, UV determinations, and fraction collection.
