The Target Pay for this position is $23.70 an hour. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget. PURPOSE OF JOB The role of a Manufacturing Chemist I is to produce products following all documentation and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Associates degree preferred in Science related discipline.
  • 0-2 years of lab experience with general laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
  • Must interact with other departments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all departments and levels of personnel.
  • High performance standards with regard to work quality and quantity.
  • Basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers.
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel, stoop, or crouch.
  • May be required to lift, move, and carry up to 25kg.
  • Hearing ability to effectively communicate via the telephone and in person.
  • Ability to communicate verbally on the phone and in person.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Extended and flexible hours may be needed.

Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, build products but not limited to, manufactured IVD assays, reagents, controls, and processes.
  • Maintain positive interaction with all areas of the company.
  • Ensure compliance of Standard Operating Procedures/Batch Production Record.
  • Maintain accurate records compliant with Good Manufacturing and Laboratory Practices.
  • Learn and use the manufacturing ERP system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
