The Target Pay for this position is $23.70 an hour. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget. PURPOSE OF JOB The role of a Manufacturing Chemist I is to produce products following all documentation and guidelines.

Requirements

Associates degree preferred in Science related discipline.
0-2 years of lab experience with general laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
Must interact with other departments.
Ability to communicate effectively with all departments and levels of personnel.
High performance standards with regard to work quality and quantity.
Basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers.
Occasionally required to bend, kneel, stoop, or crouch.
May be required to lift, move, and carry up to 25kg.
Hearing ability to effectively communicate via the telephone and in person.
Ability to communicate verbally on the phone and in person.
Fluency in the English language.
Extended and flexible hours may be needed.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, build products but not limited to, manufactured IVD assays, reagents, controls, and processes.
Maintain positive interaction with all areas of the company.
Ensure compliance of Standard Operating Procedures/Batch Production Record.
Maintain accurate records compliant with Good Manufacturing and Laboratory Practices.
Learn and use the manufacturing ERP system.
Performs other duties as assigned.
