Avery Dennison is looking for a Manufacturing Belt Specialist to join our Tooling Group. In this role, you aren’t just running a machine; you are a "Precision Builder" responsible for the craftsmanship and quality of essential industrial components.

Requirements

  • Technical Aptitude: You have a high school diploma (or GED) or 3+ years of manufacturing experience. Prior mechanical or electrical skills are a plus.
  • Computer Literacy: Comfortable using Excel, Word, and production software to log data.
  • Physical Agility: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout your shift.
  • The "Precision" Mindset: You have a strong eye for detail and a commitment to safety and high-quality work.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You prioritize "Team Before Self" and are willing to cross-train to help the department succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Build & Refine: Perform end-to-end assembly of specialized belts following strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections and use lab equipment to ensure every product meets our "zero-defect" goal.
  • Data & Analysis: Enter test results into software applications and perform basic statistical analysis to track production health.
  • Logistics Support: Prepare, clean, and pack finished belts for secure shipment.
