Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Automation, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on industrial automation experience.
  • 2+ years in a manufacturing engineering or automation role.
  • Proficiency in robotics, liquid handling, packaging automation, vision systems, and sensor integration.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including schematic interpretation and system troubleshooting.
  • Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in dynamic environments.

  • PLC programming, cobot programming, Python, VBA.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and validate automation systems in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Improve electro-mechanical systems and reagent manufacturing workflows.
  • Identify and integrate enhanced inspection and quality verification methods.
  • Analyze manufacturing performance using data and value stream mapping to uncover automation opportunities.
  • Lead automation projects from concept through deployment, including user requirement specifications and design reviews.
  • Maintain and monitor deployed equipment using metrics such as Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
  • Prototype custom tooling and fixtures using rapid prototyping and 3D printing.
  • Document technical processes and improvements clearly and accurately.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operators, technicians, engineers, and global teams.
