About The Position
We’re looking for an Entry Level Manufacturing Automation Engineer (Robotics) to collaborate closely with programming, engineering, and manufacturing leadership to build and streamline Cope Plastics’ robotics and automation strategy. This role will play a key part in advancing our capabilities in CNC routing, robotics integration, and modern plastics manufacturing. Yearly pay starts at $79,600 – will go higher based on experience.
Requirements
- Engineering degree (or in progress)
- Robotics experience
- Knowledge of automation and Lean Manufacturing
Nice To Haves
- Understands Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming and robotic programming
- General knowledge of lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with robotics, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), and smart sensors
- Experience with computer aided design software – preferably MasterCam
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- CNC experience a plus
