About The Position

The position involves assembling, aligning, and adjusting parts, components, or units according to specifications while following established manufacturing procedures. The role requires the use of hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. Additionally, the individual will test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. There may be a need to repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. The position also includes keeping daily labor tracking and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow English verbal and written instructions.
• Able to use measuring tape and weighing devices: scales.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
• Demonstrated ability to measure a metal or rubber part.
• Occasionally may lift/push more than 50 pounds.
