Requirements

Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the day
Frequent standing/walking/stooping/turning while carrying materials
Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
Experience in manufacturing and shipping is beneficial
Strong organizational skills
Effective communication skills
Attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Must be a team player

Responsibilities

Assemble Trusses and Gables using hammer and tape measure
Operate Radial Arm Saw
Manually stack wood as it comes off the machine
Assist with finger joiner-tape measure and stack
Properly package and handle incoming/outgoing orders
Material picking
Verify quantities of items pulled and record in ERP system
Aid in cycle counts as called upon to do so
Package materials in a manner that ensures their safe delivery
Responsible for the performing daily cycle counts of various types of inventory
Tracking past due backorders verses incoming material
Unload material and handle material from truck with forklift as needed and required
Work in various areas of the plant based on business needs
Maintain clean work areas
