About The Position

We are seeking motivated and dependable Manufacturing Associates to join our part-time production team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in nutraceutical manufacturing. As part of our production floor, you will support machine operators and team leads with essential tasks that ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across multiple production lines. This role offers an excellent introduction to regulated manufacturing environments (GMP) and provides a pathway for growth into machine operator, technician, or quality control roles. Flex-Schedule Program Factory6 offers a Flex-Schedule Program designed for part-time employees who need more control over when they work, while maintaining the structure of our production shifts. Employees manage their schedules directly through Rippling, where they access their employee portals. Production operates on swing shifts: Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Evening Shift: 4:30 PM – 11:30 PM Our standard work week is Monday through Thursday, with occasional opportunities on Fridays and Saturdays. Employees can sign up for their shifts one week in advance through Rippling. Flex-Schedule means you may choose between morning and evening shifts that fit your availability. Please note: this program does not allow you to set your own start and end times; you must complete the full shift once scheduled. This program gives part-time team members the ability to balance work with school, family, or other commitments — while ensuring Factory6 can maintain consistent, high-quality production operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required).
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow clear instructions.
  • Strong teamwork, reliability, and punctuality.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in production, warehousing, or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with GMP standards or other regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist production operators and line leads to ensure smooth and efficient production runs.
  • Load and unload materials onto machines, conveyors, and hoppers safely and accurately.
  • Place products on equipment or work surfaces for processing, inspection, or packaging.
  • Monitor equipment during operation and promptly report any malfunctions or irregularities.
  • Apply labels, insert desiccants, and prepare items for bottling, bagging, or packaging.
  • Safely lift, move, and transport raw materials, tools, and finished goods using carts, hoists, or forklifts.
  • Count and verify products to ensure customer orders are complete and accurate.
  • Bundle and prepare products for storage, processing, or shipment following established procedures.
  • Assemble and prepare shipping materials such as boxes, crates, and pallets, and assist with loading and unloading.
  • Inspect products to confirm compliance with established standards for size, weight, quality, and composition.
  • Record key production data such as product counts, batch details, and equipment readings.
  • Maintain accurate labeling, documentation, and tracking of finished goods.
  • Clean and sanitize machines, tools, equipment, and work areas on a regular basis.
  • Maintain an organized, debris-free, and safe workspace throughout each shift.
  • Perform routine cleaning and light preventive maintenance tasks to support equipment performance and longevity.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all applicable quality standards.
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety guidelines.
  • Handle materials responsibly to prevent accidents, injuries, or contamination.
  • Follow instructions and direction from supervisors and line leaders to support production goals.
  • Contribute to a safe, efficient, and team-focused work environment.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support production operations and company goals.
