Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to operate manual and automated equipment.
  • Basic understanding of Job Travelers and cut lists preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic and written/verbal communication.
  • Ability to work with fractions and decimals and determine tolerances.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram-based instructions.
  • Regular attendance required with availability for overtime as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, reaching, crawling, and climbing.
  • Visual acuity sufficient to determine accuracy and quality of work.
  • Ability to work in a moderate manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and temperature variations.

Responsibilities

  • Produce inspection-ready insulation kits individually or as part of a team.
  • Identify and select correct raw materials and tooling.
  • Cut, trim, shape, and prepare materials per work instructions.
  • Assemble and finish parts and kits according to specifications.
  • Label products accurately and legibly in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Consistently meet production standards for quantity and quality.
  • Document fabrication actions and material usage (written or electronic).
  • Maintain accountability of hand tools, templates, and shop aids.
  • Understand and follow Job Travelers and cut lists.
  • Receive direction from the Fabrication Crew Leader and/or Production Supervisor.
  • Follow established standards and procedures with nominal to direct supervision.
  • Comply with all safety policies and report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support G-Force operations.
  • Demonstrate and inspire commitment to the Goodwill Mission.
