About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate will perform general manufacturing tasks such as, but not limited to, wood door preparation, aluminum frame assembly, painting/finishing hollow metal frames, order picking, sorting and loading of finished product.

Requirements

High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
Current and valid US driver's license preferred
At least 1 year prior experience in a fast paced production/manufacturing environment preferred
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test
Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms; read tape measure; safely operate basic hand/power tools; meet production quotas; and work closely and cordially with other staff associates
Capable of working in a factory environment
Must display strong attention to detail and quality
A desire to learn to operate machinery and product assembly

Nice To Haves

Current and valid US driver's license preferred
At least 1 year prior experience in a fast paced production/manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

Required to perform various manufacturing tasks including painting, grinding, and product assembly
Responsible for daily activities of production, ensuring products adheres to standards of safety and quality
Responsible for reading Work Orders and Product Templates to establish necessary fabrication to be performed
Performs quality control checks and helps maintain customer requirements
Maintains general housekeeping in all areas of production and additional areas assigned by shop supervisor
Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location
Package manufactured items and label correctly
Scan delivered items and ensure quality
Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
Load/Unload trucks for shipping /delivery to proper location
Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
