About The Position
The role of a Manufacturing Associate I at Amphenol CMT is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the production process. This position plays a critical part in meeting production targets and deadlines, which are vital for ensuring that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. The Manufacturing Associate I will be involved in various tasks that contribute to the overall production workflow, including monitoring machinery, conducting inspections, and documenting production data. In this role, the associate will monitor machinery and equipment used in manufacturing, such as molded parts, to ensure that products are made to specification. They will be responsible for removing parts from the machine manually and conducting visual inspections to check for any pre-prescribed defects. Additionally, the associate will document inventory and quality management production data, including quantities produced, defects identified, and materials used. Correcting certain defects, such as flash, using general tools based on engineering and quality feedback is also part of the job. The Manufacturing Associate I will assemble subcomponents of products by following detailed assembly instructions and package finished products for shipping, ensuring that labeling and preparation align with customer orders. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is crucial, and the associate must adhere to safety protocols and cleaning schedules. Participation in team meetings to discuss production goals and continuous improvement strategies is expected, as well as being available to cover for other associates during their lunch and break times. This position is purely as an individual contributor, and while it does not require travel, it demands a commitment to quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
