About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate Assembly 1 will be responsible for performing basic manufacturing operations in which tasks are well established. To excel in this key role, you must be able to communicate clearly. This position’s specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

• Up to one year of manufacturing experience or related experience.
• High school Diploma or GED.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Some manufacturing environment experience.
• Ability to work 40 hours a week, minimum.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Retain all training.
• Read and follow written manufacturing instructions.
• Use basic measuring equipment.
• Understand what a drawing/blueprint is and participate in blueprint reading training.
• Properly use all assigned hand tools.
• Receive training on area specific tools based on assignment.
• Follow and obey all company policies and procedures.
• Learn how to build cable assemblies or other items as required.
• Use computer software to report work.
• Act as a team player.
• Perform other duties as assigned and/or special projects.
