About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate position is a full-time role on the 2nd shift, specifically from Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM. The associate will be responsible for setting up and running light industrial semi-automated equipment to produce a variety of medical devices. The role involves operating in-house machines safely, conducting quality checks, maintaining documentation, and performing packaging operations. The company provides comprehensive training starting on the first day, making it accessible for candidates with little to no manufacturing experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • 0 - 1 year previous work experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow shop order instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and run light industrial semi-automated equipment to make a variety of medical devices.
  • Operate in-house machines safely, identifying emergency stops and reporting safety concerns.
  • Conduct quality checks on the produced product to ensure there are no visible defects.
  • Document applicable information regarding product quality and machine performance.
  • Maintain machines and start general troubleshooting if needed.
  • Visually inspect in-process/finished material while operating and inform teammates of any machine malfunctions or defective products.
  • Start machines, observe for correct operation, and adjust as needed.
  • Move empty and full bags/totes/boxes to and from the machine, add label/weigh product/verify count/add to box/insert into shipper as needed, and stack onto pallet.
  • Maintain documentation, production information, cleaning documentation, and safety check documentation in the company system.
  • Practice department's medical manufacturing and housekeeping procedures and complete cleaning verification checklists as required.
  • Perform packaging operation off a variety of semi-automated packaging equipment.
  • Assemble goods on the production line.
