About The Position

The Manufacturing Associate 2 position is for the G6 Development within Dexcom. This role will provide a first-hand experience with operating a variety of developmental manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the development and production of the company's current generation of products and processes. You will be responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. You will follow pre-established guidelines and procedures with minimal choice as to method of performance of the work. You manage the set up and operation of a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product. You will manage the operation of machinery and use of computers daily. You will operate hand tools, or production equipment. You will assemble products or sub-assemble according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Follows GMP guidelines. You will work under close supervision.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma/certificate or equivalent.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to manage communication between employees at other levels within the company.
