Comfortable reading BOMs, work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings? Hands-on with tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and presses—and open to tube bending and soldering? At your best when you’re collaborating to hit daily and monthly goals? Quality-minded, ready to inspect, test, and troubleshoot to ISO requirements—capping tests at 30,000 PSI? Role Essentials Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Worksite: Onsite at Ivyland, PA; no travel required. Team: Williams Assembly within Ingersoll Rand (Milton Roy brand).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or similar fast-paced roles
  • Lifting: up to 35 lbs; hoist to be used for objects over 40 lbs
  • Standing: up to three hours at a time
  • Stooping: to access items on pallets
  • Hand dexterity: tools, screws, gauges, and control buttons
  • Verbal communication: clear interactions with coworkers and supervisors
  • Carrying: up to 40 lbs for distances up to 25 feet

  • General computer skills including SSO; familiarity with JD Edwards and Microsoft Outlook
  • A methodical, process-driven work style
  • Confidence with a variety of hand, pneumatic, and power tools
  • Ability to navigate work instructions, BOMs, blueprints, and technical drawings

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts and subassemblies following current instructions and specifications.
  • Interpret technical documentation (BOMs, work orders, drawings).
  • Use hand/pneumatic/power tools; operate cranes/hoists when needed; perform specialty work like tube bending and soldering.
  • Meet throughput targets through teamwork and clear communication.
  • Manage materials and request replenishment to maintain flow.
  • Execute inspections and functional tests to ISO; diagnose defects; adjust or repair; troubleshoot assemblies.
  • Attend monthly EHS training; build maintenance skills and product knowledge via ongoing training.
  • Follow all safety guidelines; maintain 5S; keep test pressures at or below 30,000 PSI.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs alone; coordinate team lifts up to 70 lbs; keep the area tidy and organized.
  • Honor policies including being ready to work at start, lunch, and break times.
