What You’ll Do Day-to-Day As a Commercial Technician, you’ll take the lead in building and assembling commercial units and accessories using current drawings and specifications. You’ll be involved in every step of the process — from materials and assembly to testing and quality — ensuring our products meet RenewAire’s high standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to perform basic math and read measurements (inches and feet)
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with portable power tools and machine tools (band saw, panel saw, chop saw, grinder)
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Reliable transportation for consistent attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

  • Assemble commercial units and accessories accurately and efficiently
  • Inspect work during assembly and complete required quality documentation
  • Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and build instructions
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools safely and correctly
  • Meet build schedules and estimated labor hours
  • Support insulation and production needs as required
  • Complete documentation such as non-conformance reports, part shortages, and engineering changes
  • Participate in cross-training and stay current on build processes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Take initiative to solve problems and suggest improvements to processes, tools, and workspaces
  • Remain flexible and assist with other tasks as production demands change
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Wear required PPE and report unsafe conditions or equipment immediately
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with teammates
  • Give and receive feedback with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Show up on time, stay engaged throughout your shift, and support team goals
