The Manufacturing Assembly Associate II is responsible for completing assigned manufacturing operations activities in your Assembly production area safely, meeting our quality standards and meeting Delivery goals. Be able to work with little guidance to complete tasks per day. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and is part of the Indianapolis, IN Manufacturing Assembly team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Follow production processes and perform assembly duties within required daily goals while building products within quality standards Identify and solve typical production related issues, recommend process improvement and implement effective solutions Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals

Requirements

  • High school degree (or equivalent) with 2+ years experience
  • Must be able to follow approved work instructions with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with MS office products, Microsoft Excel, email
  • Travel to Miami, FL to train for at least 15 to 20 weeks
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Operate powered industrial equipment, hoists, and other tools with lifting up to up to 50 lbs., frequent bending, stooping, walking, during the workday

Nice To Haves

  • Awareness of continuous improvement with participation in a kaizen project team is desirable
  • Previous laboratory work experience preferred, especially in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing environment.
