About The Position

Seeking mechanically inclined individuals for 1st & 2md shifts that can construct multiple levels of assembly by the utilization of automated equipment, new innovated technology techniques and solutions, and the engagement of the workforce. ATTENTION: This is a warehouse/assembly environment - candidates must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs when necessary. Experience: Must have experience in either small part assembly, medium metal assembly, or heavy-duty metal and mechanical assembly Align, fit and assemble components using power tools, measuring tools, and hand tools to perform all associated tasks Review, analyze and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawings, procedures and/or instructions Document actions and products by completing required quality and production forms, both paper and electronic Incorporate analytical techniques to identify and resolve problems and make routine recommendations Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives along with team building activities Must be able to comply with established Safety policies and procedures Able to follow and understand ESD, ESD PPE and ESD Policy and procedures Understand the basics of Lean manufacturing practices and principles Understand the basics of 7S and the 8 wastes

Requirements

  • Must have experience in either small part assembly, medium metal assembly, or heavy-duty metal and mechanical assembly
  • H.S. Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED)
  • 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Must have reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints and engineering and/or design diagrams

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience in GMP, ISO, and OSHA is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Align, fit and assemble components using power tools, measuring tools, and hand tools to perform all associated tasks
  • Review, analyze and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawings, procedures and/or instructions
  • Document actions and products by completing required quality and production forms, both paper and electronic
  • Incorporate analytical techniques to identify and resolve problems and make routine recommendations
