About The Position

The Manufacturing Assembler’s responsibilities include assembling parts or components to produce equipment, machinery or appliances, ensuring specifications and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in manufacturing, with attention to detail and a dedication to quality control. They should be comfortable working with hand and power tools and have a knowledge of safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate all equipment and component’s ability to stand on feet for long hours.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Focus on quality control.
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Safety management mindset
  • Ability to operate Heli-coil install tools, arbor press, installation of pins, rivets, complex inserts, nut-plates, bonding of material to substrate, lockwire experience etc.
  • Ability to document and interpret technical documentation

Responsibilities

  • Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies bonding components.
  • Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
  • Conducts quality control checks.
  • Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality documents.
