About The Position
A confidential defense manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler to join its production team. This role focuses on assembling and repairing electromechanical components that support mission-critical defense systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or technical/vocational education in a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience.
- VantageClear credential (or equivalent)
- U.S. Citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility).
Nice To Haves
- Experience interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, or technical drawings.
- Prior aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing assembly experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and repair of electromechanical products using standard manufacturing techniques.
- Identify and work with correct parts, components, and materials.
- Read and interpret technical data including schematics, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Communicate work status across shifts and with support staff.
- Document work through computer-based applications and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in an orderly condition.
- Perform light physical tasks, including lifting up to 15 lbs.
