Requirements

  • Knowledge of plastic card manufacturing, preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High attention for detail and focused individual.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Available to work overtime as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and instructions to the team.
  • The ability to analyze data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Outlook (email), MS excel, MS word & Payroll Software.
  • Intermediate math skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or above degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure team can meet operational needs efficiently.
  • Collaborate with upper management to ensure clear alignment with overall operational needs.
  • Establish, monitor and report key performance indicators (KPI’s) to assess productivity.
  • Address and resolve issues, conflicts and challenges within the team. Know when to escalate to ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate training plans to enhance skills & knowledge.
  • Ensure processes & procedures are followed per SOP.
  • Ensure team adheres to company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
  • Assign, train and direct team members.
  • Ensure achievement of optimum product quality through proper handling of consumables, materials and machines within your responsibility.
  • Ensure the performance of the required in-process quality checks to ensure output is consistent from start to finish.
  • Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of equipment.
  • Coordinate the response to 'rush' or urgent requests without prior notice, while still maintaining accuracy and deadline requirements.
  • Be flexible to work alternate shift schedules in order to meet customer demands during peak periods.
