About The Position

The Manufacturing Analyst I will provide administrative support for daily, weekly and monthly plant or office duties. The Manufacturing Analyst I will be organized, dependable and have strong attention to detail. Support one or more of the following areas based on the needs of the plant: Office Support and Customer Service, Marketing, Safety and Human Resources, Planning, Production and Materials, or Purchasing and Finance. The Manufacturing Analyst I will provide administrative support for daily, weekly and monthly plant or office duties. The Business Support Specialist will be organized, dependable and have strong attention to detail. The Specialist will support one or more of the following areas based on the needs of the plant: Office Support and Customer Service, Marketing, Safety and Human Resources, Planning, Production and Materials, or Purchasing and Finance.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of applicable experience, preferred.
  • Blueprint training or experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe.
  • Experience with ERP system, preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer-focused communication skills.
  • Able to work in a high-paced environment.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Speak conversational English.
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to bend, stand, climb, twist and stoop for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform sedentary work including sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Have good vision of 20/30 with corrective lenses.
  • Ability to maintain coordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects with precision.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Safety Program, as required.
  • Pull Request for Quotes (RFQs) from customer portals.
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate customer prints and specifications to determine best production methods, considering cost and quality.
  • Submit internal quotes to Purchasing for: paint, plating, material, or other subcontract requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with all plants and departments to assume accurate and timely proposals to the customer.
  • Work collaboratively with Plant Managers, Manufacturing Analysts, Sales/Business Development teams and corporate departments to ensure accurate estimates of manufacturing costs.
  • Participate in technical discussions with internal associates.
  • Communicate status of analysis projects and assure that agreed upon deadlines are met.
