Manufactured Home Affixture Specialist
About The Position
The Manufactured Home (MH) Affixture Specialist supports the Construction to Perm (C2P) lending process by coordinating the conversion of Manufactured Homes from personal property to real property. This role focuses on researching requirements, preparing affixture documents, working with county/state offices, and ensuring timely, compliant completion of all affixture steps. Requirements
- Basic understanding of mortgage or title processes.
- Knowledge of Manufactured Home conversion steps preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret county/state requirements.
- Strong communication and time management abilities.
- Proactive problem solver comfortable working independently.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in MH lending, C2P lending, or title processing preferred.
- Experience preparing or recording affidavits or DMV/title documents is a plus.
- LOS experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Research state/county affixture requirements, timelines, and fees.
- Serve as the main contact for county recorder offices and DMV/title agencies.
- Prepare and route Affidavits of Affixture and related documents for signature.
- Submit affixture documentation and surrender titles/MCOs to appropriate agencies.
- Track submissions, resolve rejections, and obtain recorded documents.
- Update loan systems and collaborate with internal teams to meet C2P timelines.
