The Manufacture Worker must be willing to perform work in a team environment – adhering to all attendance and safety rules, regulations & equipment requirements. Roles and Responsibilities: Basic Assembly and test electromechanical assemblies for turbine components including installation, adhesive bonding, drilling, tapping, torquing, lubricating, and wiring Work from engineering drawings, work instructions, and wiring diagrams Assemble, bend, form, braze, tape, stack Generator parts, assemblies and components on both New Build work and Services Assemble, fit, and connect a variety of Generator parts and components Utilize standard tooling to complete work tasks Utilize the proper chemicals; must be able to understand safety data and shelf-life information Follow EHS compliance for turbine assembly and test Perform complete and accurate quality documentation Assist in implementation of documentation and process improvements Assist in testing and minor inspections as needed Move material/product using cranes (Level 2) and other approved material movement equipment to perform work tasks such as fork trucks Unload and prepare parts/product for shipment Perform Complex repair work. Provide on-the job training to other personnel as needed Provide on-the-job training to other personnel as needed. Complete other daily housekeeping functions including 5s and parts kitting. Assist in all aspects for Service and Repair work Must demonstrate the ability to follow policies and practices and improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost including, but not limited to: use of all required personal protective equipment, ensuring machine guards and safety features are working, identifying and reporting unsafe working conditions; attention to detail - identifying and reporting quality issues found through in-line checking and reporting of critical appearance defects for resolution Physical demands of the position include: Constant standing; frequently handling various parts for assembly; frequent walking, reaching at waist level, pushing/pulling, grasping/squeezing, pinching, fine motor dexterity, neck flexion, and using air tools; occasionally sitting, reaching overhead, reaching at shoulder level, reaching at knee and floor level, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, ladder/stair climbing, pivoting, twisting, neck extension/rotation, and using vibratory tools. Handling and lifting of parts and/or equipment Must Adhere to and follow all safety procedures, i.e., lock-out/tag-out, report safety concerns, use appropriate PPE as required, and follow similar safety practices Ability to work in a loud/noisy environment The factories are not climate controlled – conditions can be hot or cold Ability to work overtime as required Switching between various production assignments as required
