About The Position

The Straightener is responsible for straightening parts and checking the straightness of parts in accordance with work instructions to meet customer requirements. This position will be located at our facility in Warsaw, IN on a 2nd shift schedule. What You'll Do: Responsible for strengthening parts per customer requirements. Check orders in Straightening area for paperwork accuracy, verify count and move to next location Follow urgent needs jobs through the straightening area to guarantee delivery Runs production in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Maintain production quality to customer requirements Read and interpret blueprints and work operation sheets to determine appropriate operations to be performed. Reports key job status to Departmental Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager Cross train in other finishing areas. Comply with all company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned. What You'll Need: Ability to multi-task and prioritize and work with a sense of urgency Read and interpret blueprints and work operation sheets to determine appropriate operation to be performed Ability to use dial indicators Good interpersonal skills Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
