The Manual Radial Drill/Subarc Operator is responsible for setting up and operating Manual Radial Drills and Subarc Machines in accordance with required specifications. Duties include reading and interpreting prints for required specifications and dimensions, setting up parts and making layouts according to blueprints, operating Manual Radial Drill and Subarc Machine efficiently, measuring parts using various measuring tools, including tape measures, dial calipers, dial indicators, and micrometers, removing slag using grinders, and operating overhead cranes daily to load machines with parts. Occasionally, the operator will also operate forklifts.
