Requirements

• 3+ years of machining experience or equivalent knowledge.
• Strong understanding of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Positive attitude and a desire to continually improve.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various machine tools (manual lathe, mill, grinder, drill presses, CNC Mill, CNC Lathe).
• Modify and repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines.
• Read and understand mechanical blueprints for moderately complex parts.
• Perform quality checks using micrometers, dial indicators, and Vernier calipers.
• Train less experienced machinists and specify necessary tools.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment (6S: Sort, Straighten, Shine, Safety, Sustain).
