Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC a world class supplier of power generation services, parts and repairs, has an immediate opening for a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. As a manual machinist, you will apply knowledge of high precision machining, shop math, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures to set-up and operate a variety of manual machines including Engine Lathe and/or VTLs. Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications. Use basic math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances. Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using bore gauges and other measuring instruments. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop new products or improve existing ones. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble, weld, fabricate, and finish parts.
